Not changed my debit order dates
2 months ago I had to change all my debit order dates due to my company moving over to a new payroll system. All my previous debit orders was for the 15th of each month, but then I change it to the 21st of each month, because of my salary being paid in on the 21st of each month. I have proof where Old Mutual confirms that all my debit orders were successfully changed. 2 days ago Old Mutual took off a debit order of almost a R1000 and because there wasn't enough money in my account the debit order was reversed by my bank and my bank fined me R115. I emailed Old Mutual and a lady came back saying sorry and that they made a mistake and that they will rectify that. I also claimed and demanded that Old Mutual refund me the R115 penalty. Today I got emails, phone calls and sms's saying that I have unpaid debit orders and must settle it ASAP. I only get paid tomorrow the 21st.
Well done Old Mutual, you have no respect whatsoever for me as consumer. You only care about the money you can take from me and all your other clients. Well let me tell you what, you're not going to crush me. I will stand up for my rights as consumer. I am protected by the Consumer Act. Your service and attitude is beyond poor. You just care about money and dont care about your clients. Well let me tell you what, I will take all my business elsewhere and will soon cancel all my policies with Old Mutual.
