My father passed away in January 2018. We have been attempting to sort out his estate and the Master of the court has requested a the breakdown of each policy number that my dad had with Old mutual. Our attorney the executor of his estate has requested this several times and also emailed them and . To date they have not assisted.

The last communication I had from Old Mutual’s representative Nomundo Yenge on the 18th August 2020 she advised that she cannot supply transaction statements as the contract is off books.

In terms of Fica Section 23 ; It states that the documents used to identify and verify clients as well as records of all transactions must be retained for a period of at least five years from the date on which the business relationship was terminated.
