No Service
<p>No service from Old Mutual</p> <p>I have escalated my request/concern to the all levels and still nothing. Im not sure what is needed of me to just get my normal annual TAX certificate to submit my returns to SARS. Very very terrible service from Old Mutual.</p>

01 Jul 2016, 13:16As from 1 March 2015 premiums paid for income protection policies will no longer be tax deductible, and the benefit proceeds will be exempt from tax (tax free), in most instances.
This is in line with the Taxation Laws Amendment Act no 31 of 2013.
The reason for the amendment is to align the tax treatment of income replacement policies with other similar insurance policies. This is to promote uniformity in the tax treatment of policies that relate to personal insurance for individuals.
