No payout from old mutual claim
I have been claiming my late mother's life insurance since December 2020 and last year, only one beneficiary was paid but the other 2 did not get their lumpsum. We started claiming the rest of it and everytime I reach out to them, they tell me about documents that are missing yet these are documents that have now been submitted more than 5 time. For the pasy 4 weeks, everytime I call in, they tell me that the funds will be sent out in 5 working days and by the look of things, it will take another 5 months.

20 Jul 2022, 19:28Well, I waited all day to hear from Thabiet Mintin or any of the old mutual consultants as promised but still, nothing. I ended up having to call them yet again and as usual, all I got was promises to talk to the manager who's name is Grant and that he will call me back with feedback. I am yet to receive that call or Atleast hear about how my claim is being processed. I guess old mutual really is a ****, well, in my experience so far, they are not worth all the years we spend paying them in hopes that our families will be well taken care of as per the agreement with them. My siblings are struggling to get by while their money is being withheld for no apparent reason by OLD MUTUAL.
