Never put your life savings in Old Mutual

They deserve 0 stars????

I transferred life savings from GEPF to old mutual. They filled the SARS tax drective incorrectly and I was overtaxed by R113000. To add insult to injury, for 2 years they ignored my pleas to correct theur mistake, blaming every one else.

They consistently told me to push off.

Finally, the first intelligent employee , Phumla, found their mistake. And after 2 years I received the tax refund.

Note An old mutual employee advised me that , this was the first time they handled a matter whereby a state employee worked before democracy. ???? Preposterous, ludicrous, outright bizarre thought process.

So be careful if you're trusting old mutual with your life savings ???? Actually DONT TRUST THEM.
