Never invest with Old mutual

I have had an extremely pathethic experiences with Old Mutual and will not consider or advise any future investments with this company. The level of service has been unacceptable.

I, P. Naicker, app**** for a partial surrender and was incorrectly informed in that the funds would be paid out within 3 to 5 days after signing the quote. It has now been over a week with no payment received. Everytime I called or went into a branch, I was told it was being processed and they could not tell me anything further. This experience is the second occurrence of the same issue, which reflects a consistent failure in communication and extremely poor service delivery.

It is highly distasteful that an organisation with Old Mutual’s reputation operates in such an unreliable and useless manner. My confidence in the company has been completely eroded and I will never take out another investment with them
