My rights to choose and information has been violated

In 2012 i took a life cover with old mutual.greeen light policy worth *** were i was paying 802.00 per month,reason being my firstborn is doing first year at private college where i paid 40000 .i approached the company to reduce the premium if possible to reduce the cover to suit my pocket.they said to me is not possible with life covers rather to cancel and start afresh.then on the 4 of April 2024, i canceled the policy as advice'd,then because i was not happy with the starting afresh process after that i got another opinion from a consultant that i was supposed to ask for premium to be reduced than to cancel.pleaschelp me to reinstate my policy with less than what i was paying.for further communication contact me on email address :***/***
