My policy lapsed can no longer reinstated

My name is Hendrick Letsekang Mabaso I'm 36 years of age, I have a funeral policy with Old mutual group since 31/07/2017 my policy number is 69286N*** the policy covers me, my wife and my son the monthly premium is R235;91 my adviser is Dorcas Matlhatsi at Lichtenburg branch and the method of payment was stop oder then as time goes on I got retrenched march 2022 then the stop oder didn't go through but the account was sufficient so I went to the branch to consult with Dorcas Matlhatsi and she advised me to go and make a payment at post office then I did that, she activated the stop oder again the following month it was the same story up until I got a job February 2023 then I went to the branch to consult with Dorcas so that she can activate the stop oder again, all was good the problem started when the stop oder didn't go through 25/09/2023 then she advised me to add it as a beneficiary to my banking app so that I can easily transfer the money my reference is my policy number. Then I've made a transfer for October, November, December, January and February using my banking app I have all the records that shows all the transactions. Then on the 14/03/2024 I got an sms that state my policy is lapsed can no longer reinstated as it has lapsed, lapse end date 16/09/23 then I went to the branch to consult with Dorcas and she told me I have been paying more money because the premium is R235,91 and I've been transfering R236,00 so the money went to the suspense. She lodged a suspense inquiry stating that they should take the money from suspense to my policy, then the 25/03/2024 they rep**** to me and said they can no longer reinstate my policy as it has lapsed I should go to the branch for refund of R1436,00 the amount from October until February, then I showed Dorcas all the messages and she said there is nothing she can do I should apply for refund , and since I app**** for this policy 31/07/2017 I never make a claim and I've been paying my premiums every month
