My name is Geraldine I've been with old mutual for so many years paying my funeral cover when I went I lodged the claim they told me that my policy lapsed after they debited my account till the last month before I claimed want to no why did they debit my account while the policy lapsed pls help me because they asked me for the last month proof of payment and I did submit but they keep on telling me the same story I need your help pls this is the message they send me

They told me my policy lapsed but the debit order went through till the last month before I claim
If the policy lapsed they were suppose to stop the debit order and inform me that the policy lapsed not to continue debiting my account
They no what they did that is y they don't want to put this in public

Why did they reply privately

I was told that my policy lapsed that's why I'm asking why did they debit my polcy till the last month
