My account was processed without my approval

On the 18th of november i met a guy called Mohapi who pitched the 2in1 investment that Old mutual offers.I signed a paper and filled in my details but he said my application wont be processed until i fax/e-mail my payslip and bank statement offwhich i haven't.Now on the 24th of december i got a debit order of R1000 so when i consult my legal assistants they said that is *******.So now i just an e-mail to old mutual to cancel my investment but no one as willing to help as i keep getting automatic responses.
