Most ridiculous policy ever!

<p>To the most senior individual in Old Mutual Finance! </p> <p> </p> <p>I have called moments ago to complain and left my contact details to be called back. </p> <p> </p> <p>On Tuesday morning I submitted my relevant docs to Old mutual bank at Gandhi square and the gentleman that is, in my opinion too sick to be at work, Jerome (don't remember his surname) accepts my application for a loan for R20k. He then slobbers, coughs, sniffs all over the desk, my ID and other docs, but doing his job and I suppose following process... </p> <p> </p> <p>After going through every transaction on my bank statement, tells me that I am approved for R20k but they won't give it to me because... and wait for this: "YOU SWIPE YOUR CARD TOO MUCH, YOU MUST DRAW CASH AND PAY FOR STUFF" </p> <p> </p> <p>I was shocked to say the least! I said the following: how can you have such a ridiculous policy and say that to me. In other words, sir, please draw cash, incur as many bank charges as possible and then we will consider giving you a loan of R20k... </p> <p> </p> <p>By swiping my card for my purchases, how does that indicate that I can't afford a monthly installment??? Please make me understand this??? </p> <p> </p> <p>I eagerly await the response of one of your Credit managers and the inidividual that wrote that policy, as well as the person that scripted that response I received!!! </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Regards, </p> <p>Clayton McLaren</p>
