I opened a Retirement Annuity with Old Mutual and the first deductions went off month end of June 2022, was I not shocked to realize that the monies reflecting on my account are from October 2022. From June - September 2022 nothing reflect. To make matters worse, I apparently canceled and opened the new RA just unbeknown to me.

When I call Old Mutual, I am being sent from pillar to post, every week is a new story, an Old Mutual financial advisor who assisted me in opening the RA is not taking my calls, not responding to my texts(whatsapp) and e-mails.

When I request a cancellation and subsequently a refund, I am told the policy does not allow for a refund, but the monies I contributed were take out by whoever cancelled and opened a new RA on my behalf.
