May Death Claim. Old Mutual is a nightmare

I have submitted a death claim in May and even today I'm still waiting for them to 'gather' information then they can assess it (as they say). I have been doing a lot of calling...ups and downs, from one province to another, trying to get old doctors in a different province to complete medical history forms which they failed to inform me about when I was at their branch in May. Even after submitting these forms, Old Mutual creates another need to require more info from a GP that doesn't even care because he's not the carrying financial responsibilities of the deceased and he gains absolutely nothing from this exercise.

This is very frustrating, especially because the deceased left suddenly from something new, that has nothing to do with the history they are seeking from her old doctors. It's very sad that these Insurances will treat our kids like this when we are gone.
