Listed on SAFPS by Old Mutual For Over 10years Now
I have been listed on SAFPS, when i contacted Old Mutual to understand why this has been the case since the SAFPS referred me to them they asked me to send them samples of signatures, affidavit and copy of my ID. I did send this to them and they simple told me that they will continue with the listing. I tried asking the people there as to why is this the case they said they have enough evidence whihc they cant share with me. I have been listed on SAFPS now for over 10 years and OLD Mutual does not want to help me clear my name. On the affidavit i did state that i lost my ID and this could be a case of Identity theft but they wont help.

Please note that i have taken this matter Ombuds and recieved feeback from your one Abongile Tembani telling me that an investigation was conducted after they recieved dispute documents, it has been concluded that adequate evidence exists to substantiate the continuing listing On SAFPS. Attached letter to that effect was made available stating that an application for credit was tendered at Old Mutual Finance Vanderbilpark on the 17/08/2012 in my name and as per industry standards the applicants ID was listed. The investigation was reistated on 18 June 2021 and investigation revealed that adeqaute evidence exists to substantiate the continued listing and i should contact the investigator if more information is required.

The question is, i have submited all the relevant docs stating that i had a case of Identity Theft, had an affidavit with the sample signatures that you guys required. How do i get my name cleared from your system as what i get from your is enough evidence to substantiate listing but no document to suport that so i can take this matter forward and have may name cleared its over 10 years now and no evidence was provided to me.
