Late husband's retirement annuity not paid out more than a year now.

My husband passed away end of 2020,I have submitted all the documentation for his retirement annuity, it has been over a year now to date the money has not been paid out even after visiting the offices countless times, they are always telling me the funds will be releas~ in a week and nothing is happening.
