Lapsed life cover due to non processing of updated details

I would like to express my sincere sadness as I write this, Old mutual has lapsed my Life cover which I've had for over three years now. I changed departments which means my payment details changed I went to branches several times requesting the update of my details so payment can go through but seems the personnel failed me. I wish they can just reinstate my cover
