Lack of Fiduciary duty to the deceased

My father passed away 8 years ago now. Old Mutual lost his Will, which then took over a year to validate at the masters office. In this time his home that he was planning on turning into an B&B was broken into and everything ******, from doors to windows. It lost half the value of over R1m. In addition some of the assets lost value, we lost income and more.

Old mutual then assigned *********** executors who moved the dealing with estate over three times now to different people and eventually outsourced it. At no point did they inform of us of these moves and we have been chasing for the best part of 8 years now.

I have recommended that friends and family move their assets and Wills away from Old Mutual. They are a bunch of *****ulent people who work for a corporate that think they can treat individuals as they like and not act in their clients best interests!
