Investment Policy, early withdrawal reap off

I opened an investment account in May 2022, contributing R1500 every month. In October the balance had to be sitting on R9000. i went to one of the offices to ask to close the account because of financial reasons, i was advised that the available amount available to withdraw is R7800 due to charges and fees, because of Surending the policy before maturity date. i accepted that. Today i was credited R6460, which is not the amount on my contract i signed. i logged a twitter complaint DM, and the explanation still does not make sense. How does one contribute R9000 on an investment policy and get charged R2540 on an investment. this was not a loan nor credit card but an investment policy. you reaped me off, and i want my hard-earned money.
