I've been with old mutual life insurance for over 5 years. I've recently had an accident, were i injured my eye. Which caused me to have no vision anymore and also been medically boarded of from my current employer. With all proven documents. Old mutual still insists that i do not qualify to any money from a disability claim. Besides the fact that they 7 working days to even process the claim forms, then another 2 weeks to reply to you, to inform you that you do not qualify to claim for a disability. Not to mention they have the audacity to tell me that i can seek other employment. I am very disappointed in their services. I mean, you under the impression that you have a hassle free claim, but when you do actually make a claim. Its this document and that document. It took me almost a month and a half to actually drive back and forth to work and the eye clinic where i had my eye opp done and thats cost to us. Not to mention, on my first claim, they sent me the wrong claim forms. I honestly feel as if all insurance companies out there are to take our peoples money and ever so ready not to help us out. Is there anyway that i can take this matter further??
