I would not recommend doing business with this company

Had a RA with Old Mutual that matured in April 2017. Seems money flow is one way traffic here - they are eager to sign you up and collect your monthly payments, but when it come to pay out time ........

I have on numerous occasions submitted request to find out what the exact value of my investment is, as I require the value to complete the form for pay out - lol, this is mission impossible. Sure, a few of their "Reps" will eagerly contact you to re-invest your funds with Old Mutual, but when you say, you prefer a payout ........ the silence is deafening.

At wits end, I finally went to my local OM office (Lakeside Mall) and had the required forms completed there. They also submitted the application to Head Office (or so I was told). No confirmation was received to date. Last week I requested acknowledgement of my request to Client Services. Yep, you guessed it, it is as if I do not exist - no reply!

I am tempted to request a quote for a new policy, I am sure I will be flooded with OM's willingness to assist :)
