I will never take out any insurance with Old Mutual again

We have been trying to change beneficiaries on a policy since the 17th of April 2023. It is now the 2nd of June 2023 and my father is now lying in the ICU and asks about this policy every time we visit. We have had to jump through hoops with the amount of documents we have had to provide, which we have provided, and there seems to be absolutely no urgency in getting this resolved.

Apparently no beneficiaries can be added to this policy because it is owned by a trust, yet we also have a policy owned by a trust with Momentum and they had no issues with adding beneficiaries. We still have not received a good explanation of why beneficiaries cannot be added and we have had to go the cession route.

This is a very trying time for our family and I never want to have to deal with Old Mutual again.
