I had old mutual policies, one for funeral cover and another was an investment. I went to the branch to cancel the policy but they continued to deduct my premiums from the payslip. I went back to the branch and they told me that there's nothing they can do, I have to stop the deduction at my work and all the money that was deducted after cancelation would be refunded back into my account . They demanded proof of cancelation at work and I only an sms of cancelation because they told me that they cannot give me anything in paper. I managed to stop the premium from being deducted, then went back to old mutual multiple times for refund . I was never refunded my money for 4 months now, that's how disappointed I am and will never recommend it to anyone else.
