I had a retirement annuity plan with old mutual from 2017 and I was under contract at work now I'm permanent from this year in February, there were changes in my HR so I was paying my premiums via stop order from work, so those changes disturb my stop order for atleas 2 months after that other stop orders where back to normal except my old mutual retirement and I also have funeral cover with old mutual but that it's fine. I went to old mutual branch in Benoni Lakeside to report the matter and arrange to pay those outstanding 2 months premiums, thought that I was help in May I received a paid up letter saying my policy is lapsed. Went back to Benoni branch other lady helped me saying the arrangement was not submitted correctly and I filled the reinstate forms in June the lady phoned me and said they said they won't reinstate my policy. Went to the branch again in Benoni got another lady and she said to me it's not yet 6 months my policy I can still reinstate it but till now no help nothing is happening so I don't know where to go because even if I phoned the phone is not answering. This is so frustrating really. And now I'm in the process with another insurance company.
