I DO NOT RECOMMEND OLD MUTUAL

My funeral policy was "accidentally" terminated by one of the consultants when I had specifically asked for the education cover to be cancelled and when I told them to reinstate the policy after I realized that the wrong policy was cancelled, the consultant tried to reinstate the policy however the reinstatement was declined because of issues regarding premium deductions which were eventually resolved. While this was ongoing my brother passed on and I could not claim because I was accused of reinstating the cover because I had realized my brother was sick. Mind you, I had had this cover since 2003( more than a decade prior) and what irritates me the most is that they continued deducting premium monies from me even after rejecting my claim. I will never recommend Old Mutual to anyone. Not even to my worst enemy
