I am so tired of Old Mutual and Vericred

I took a loan with old mutual in 2014 and after sometime I could not continue paying it because I was no longer working. Then they handed over the account to Vericred collections. They kept on calling me and I told them I was not working. I had 2 loans R41000 and R5000, up until this year I got employed. Vericred called me last month and told me about a 80% discount for my R5000 loans do that they can close it, I paid they made a immediate debit it was successful R1170 then they sent me a paid up letter from Vericred. Then I asked one from old mutual I was told I need to go to the branch to ask for it.

I went to Benoni to ask for it and that coloured lady it was like I was bothering her. She told me that she has taken it upon with old mutual legal team I must call again to check. I called the following day she told me that the legal team is saying it will clear after 30 days and I wont get any paid up letter because I didn't settle the full amount and it will always reflect on my credit score. If I was told this from the first time I was not going to settle this account I mean the point of paying is to clear ur credit score.

Then today I went to south gate to enquire again that receptionist she was not paying attention to what I am saying she just referred me to the wrong person and printer me a old paid up letter. Until I got some one to check for me I was told that I am owing R125 so they cant issue out the paid up letter. Firstly I was told the is a balance of R4000 when I went to benoni then today it's this.

Firstly when you call that Vericred of theirs then dont answer phone calls but they are quick to tell u about settlement amounts. Secondly I dont understand why I should be taken to pilla to post regarding this and I am not the one who said Vericred must not do their job and update Old mutual as they have partned together they should sort this out.

I went to 2 old mutual branches still no help. I want my settlement letter and I dont care how old mutual and Vericred sort this out. Vericred we have been holding for an hour trading to get someone to assist me. I cant do anything because of this old mutual debt. I need this fixed or I promise I will take it further. I work hard for my money if not they must reverse it back .
