Hopeless

I unfortunately have a unit trust account with Old Mutual and every year it is a huge hassle to get the tax certificate since, unlike the proper investment firms in SA, they don't provide any functional services through the secure portal. You have to call the support center for absolutely everything. I am currently living abroad and cannot call international numbers. What is the point of a secure portal if you don't trust it to provide a tax certificate to your customers? Old Mutual couldn't be bothered to respond to their emails, nor to hellopeter complaints, but hopefully the huge number of negative reviews will detract people from making use of their services. I will be closing my account shortly - much better options out there. Hopeless.
