Hello Peter

Hello Peter

I submitted a severe illness claim in 2018, the benefit was paid. But I was not aware that the claim was not paid in full, I was paid only the terminal illness benefit into the late estate account. When I was reading the contract in 2020 I saw some important information, which state " 100% cover amount will be paid if the life covered suffers the severe illness.

I wrote an email again to old mutual, regarding the unpaid benefits. The death benefit was paid in 2020. But I'm not sure if old mutual greenlight paid all the necessary benefits. I enquired about the final expense, which was the remaining benefit that was not paid. I was told the final expense is not part of the 100% cover amount.

Can anyone with any knowledge about old mutual greenlight policy assist me. By 100 % cover amount, which benefits are payable? According to my understanding 100% means everything.

Old mutual acted in bad faith, because they were supposed to pay all the benefits at once without me having to remind them about what they know.
