GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER

I recently lost my job and I hold 3 policies with Old Mutual that my partner is now paying for me. I was having issues with my retirement annuity policy but that was sorted out. I was aware that the free restitution of my policy had lapsed and that I had arrears which I agreed to pay. Unfortunately for my July policy I had issues that resulted in money being deposited late in my account. The penalty was collected without a hitch. Unfortunately the policy could not be revived. Got hit with another arrears penalty of R1200 which I accepted. Seeibg thag my partner can only give me money later than the date Old Mutual took from my account. In order to avoid such issues I emailed my advisor requesting there be a change to my debit order date from the 1st to the 7th effective the following month being August. Imagine my surprise when my debit orders went unpaid and I incurred bank charges. I called my advisor and advised her of the situation. She investigated and found that the change in date had only been DIARISED AND NOT EXECUTED. She then reminded them that the request had been made a month earlier and it still had not been acted upon. Today the 3rd of August my retirement annuity goes unpaid yet I requested for the 7th. That means it will not be revived for the month of August and who knows how much of a penalty I have incurred due to somebody's incompetence. I already have penalty of R300 before any other bank charges have been levied due to somebody just diarising the date and not changing it as per requirement. I WANT ANSWERS AS SOON AS YESTERDAY. Contact me if you want the emails and I will gladly send them. And how do I get my retirement annuity retirement revived if there is incompetency. Trust me when I say if you are unemployed R300 in bank charges is a fortune. What of the other monies needed its a mountain to climb. Give me that person's job and I will prove that competent people can do much better jobs. Response please AS SOON AS YESTERDAY.

Ms Chidzuu
