Funeral Policy Refund

My mom died on the 4th of April 2010 and I Old Mutual paid out and continued to debit the same premium for months and I only noticed it because they had corrected the premium by taking out what I was paying for my mom, I was working in Stutterheim at the time but when I eventually went to the branch with my payslips and a lady that was assisting me then promised to get back to me and never did, months later I went again and I was told that the money was refunded every month after the premium was deducted to an account that I had closed in April 2010, I asked to see proof of this and she could not furnish it to me.
