Funeral cover policy with no Beneficiary details

<p>My cousin passed away and as a family we strugling with funds to burry him, while he has funeral policy with Old Mutual, we went to their offices to claim as the family and we were told he had no beneficiaries on his policy so we cannot obtain a pay out, both parents are still alive, however they cannot accept them to claim on his behalf.</p> <p>Then who has to claim? can a dead person claim on his behalf, it really shows incompetence or concern because if they were really checking their records they should be keeping incontacts with their clients.</p> <p> </p>
