FRUSTRATING AND BAD ADMINISTRATION PROCESS
After my divorce in 2018, I visited the Old Mutual Office in Adderley Street, part of the process was updating my marital status, changing beneficiaries and removing my ex wife as one of the covered people. I notice now that she is still active more than 18months later, and I am still paying R42 for her whilst I was clear that I want her removed, imagine having to pay a premium for an ex wife, whilst having a partner ?? Like really now.
At the time and the staff member asked that I bring along submitted all necessary documents, including a signed confirmation letter, copy of my ID, bank statement, which they asked for and even my decree of divorce to make sure she is removed. Why is this still the case and why am I still having a problem I thought has been removed in 2018. I mean literally 2years later she is still in my potfolio, what more does one have to do inorder to resolve this issue...
This besides the fact that Old Mutual once cancelled my policy after my ex wife sent them a letter and they could see that I am the policy holder but they went ahead anyway, and I had to do the entire admin to resolve the issue... What manner of non-professionalism is this.... nx
