I went to old mutual Birchaches mall to cancel my policy, the staff member assisting said they require 3 months bank statements in order to cancel a policy. I got the statements, he did a loan application and a credit enquiry on experian. I luckily got my monthly credit report the following day and found out he actually went through my records without my permission. I called their call centre and enquired about this and they told me they do not do credit checks to cancel policies. I was told they are investigating, I asked for reference and was told they don't issue reference numbers, I asked for recording since they record conversions and I was told someone will contact me. A week has passed and nobody responded
