my mother took her pension on 2008 and she got her provident fund money. she went to OLD MUTUAL with her manager that she worked with for 28 years and she told her manager that she wants to invest half of her money and she will take half of it. when she got there the financial adviser gave her papers to sign without reading them. after sometimes she went back to OLD MUTUAL and she told them that she want some of the money to pay for my sister's education they told her that the only investment policy that she have with them is Annuity policy she told them that she doesn't know anything about it. I went with her back to OLD MUTUAL we find that they have changed her provident fund policy to pension fund policy. she was getting her monthly salary from old mutual that she didn't ask for it the only money that she wanted was her lump sum money that she invested it with them. 2014 she didn't get her monthly salary then when we arrived at old mutual sandton they told her that she is dead and they paid Thabiso the remaining money. she cried and one of the managers called Cape Town OLD MUTUAL they promised to pay her before month end and she even told them that she doesn't know Thabiso. lately they claimed that she signed a policy with them on 2014. the old lady is forever crying she wants her money please help her. OLD MUTUAL took my mothers Provident fund money. People please be careful with OLD MUTUAL.
