Financial Advisor went AWOL, Old Mutual doesn't respond on requests

<p>At the end of 2016 I told my Old Mutual financial advisor to take a hike, since I did not receive responses from him on emails sent 2 months ago, at which point he asked me to mail him on his gmail address. Really? A company as big as Old Mutual, and you want me to correspond on an official level with GMAIL?</p> <p> </p> <p>Anyway, after that, Old Mutual graciously contacted us to request whether we wish to be visited by a financial advisor, since (2 days after sending my old FA on his merry way) there was no-one listed as linked to our portfolio. We said "Yes! Please!", and it's now been another 2 1/2 months since, and NOTHING has happened.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried calling the Old Mutual number for the branch I worked with previously, and after the reception tried putting me through to the third Fin. Advisor who didn't pick up, no.3 actually picked up, then proceeded to put the phone down again!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm out of options, other than moving away from Old Mutual and finding another FSP with better service. Better yet, doesn't matter which type of service, as long as it's ANY SERVICE AT ALL!</p>
