Fight for my own money

<p>I had a retirement annuity,some policies and a consolidation. I have been payingeverything with debit orders. Unfortunately not all my debit orders was going off and was only informed 8 months later. I was shocked and take some of the blame as i did not check everythihng that goes of my account on a monthly basis. Now i was told that my Retirement annuity was cancelled because of no payment. Now i have app**** to get a refund on my money paid but was told that i should wait till i am 55 years old. Why is it such an issue to get my own money bank. I was told by one of the agents that i can get my money refunded but when i went in i was told another story. Please let me know why i cant get my own money back and what gives them the right to make decisions on my money.</p>
