Family Support Services is no support service

My sister passed at Steve Biko in Tshwane and was supposed to be repatriated by Dove undertakers to Cape Town via airfreight. Her body was repatriated by another undertaker called Pyramid Funeral Parlour who charged us for a coffin and no provision for an air-ticket for one family member to accompany the body as is stipulated in the contract. When I enquired this I was met with arrogance by FSS staff whereby even the manager slammed a phone down on me. The repatriation farewell of my sister from Tshwane to CT was undignified as they let us the family see her in a body bag not in a coffin as Dove usually do. This left us traumatised and caused unnecessary discomfort to her kids and mother.
