FAILING US WHEN WE NEEDED YOU THE MOST

I Write this review with a very heavy heart. My father Frederick Daniel Truter passed away almost a year ago from acute heart failure. He had a policy through his work for disability which was suppose to be paid out in order for him to at least have the best care he can have in his last days. after numerous doctors visits, reports and documents filled out and month and months of going back and fourth my dad fell so ill that he spent his last month of his life in Groote schuur hospital with myself and my family having to take turns to look after him as he was in so much pain and needed full time assistance which we couldn't afford as his policy never paid out. After my fathers death and a long battle with Old Mutual we finally got them to admit the money that was due to my father and approved it for payment. Every week we get an email stating the money will be paid out at the end of this week. another week passes and nothing. followed by another email on the next Monday promising the same. This money was suppose to help my father when he no longer could, as promised by Old Mutual financial advisors. on singing up for their products. Old Mutual has failed my Father who diligently paid his premiums every month out of his small salary in order to make sure he can be looked after in such events and that he can leave something for his children when he is no longer here. OLD MUTUAL, YOU HAVE FAILED MY FATHER ONCE. AND YOU ARE FAILING HIM AGAIN. Is this how you treat your loyal clients? We did not want to resort to going public but have been left no choice. When are we receiving the money that is owed to us??

Reviewer Update
Thank you for your swift reply to my review Coleen. I really hope to hear back from you ASAP as the money was said to be paid 3 weeks ago. Last week we received another email saying it will be by latest end of this week. it is Friday 13:25 and the person who was dealing with our case is unreachable. I have contacted Carte Blanche as well as 702 as a desperate attempt to get assistance with this matter we can't seem to get an end to with Old Mutual. I hope that when I do speak to them I can tell them about a favorable outcome to this very traumatic and painful experience we had to endure.
