Failed by Old Mutual

Please urgently investigate as I went to the Old Mutual East London Branch today and AGAIN I was informed that head office consultants “can’t see any documents submitted” How is that possible when I had visited the branch on 25th November 2021 and the branch consultant called the Groupscheme whilst at the branch and was thereafter informed that my case was with the trustees and latest to release payment was this month January 2022. Nothing has been done. This is horrible service, we as the beneficiaries are suffering whilst waiting on Old Mutual.

It’s now 31st January 2022. My Mother who was your client passed on 21 December 2020. A year of suffering. Hoping that Old Mutual will attend to this matter urgently without empty promises and come to our aid and release what is due to us. 

Ombudsman is also aware of the service we have received from Old Mutual branch.

I would like to commend BILQEES CARELSE for the great effort put into this matter and making sure that I get assistance.

After a long wait and having had to lay a complaint for being sent from one pillar to post and nearly losing hope in regards to our Late Mother’s death claim, I am pleased to say that Old Mutual has finally assisted us as beneficiaries and I would like to thank every consultant that I liaised with in making sure that we get all the assistance that we need.
