Excuses to not payout policy cancellation
Old Mutual Group Schemes are making excuses in order to NOT pay a cancellation request on a paid up policy. The policy owner was divorced many years prior to taking out the policy and now Old Mutual want to see the divorce agreement before paying out. The divorce being more than 6 years prior to taking out the policy is being used as a reason to not pay out the contributions to date!

06 Sept 2022, 11:59The policy holder acquired the policy in 2013, FIVE PLUS YEARS after her divorce and the divorcee passing away, yet Old Mutual is STILL pursuing the divorce decree as an excuse to refund contributions made to the this policy, this is not even interest, JUST contributions made.
