empty promises by everyone that works there

I have app**** for a cancellation for my Retirement annuity for 2 months with Old Mutual, every time I call them to enquire I'm told stories, and sent from pillar to post. The consultants promised me money last week and said that I should wait for 48 hours, 72 hours I get a different story . please help
