Educational plan

I went to old mutual to find out how my Educational policy work, but I could not get an aswer, everything that I ws aking I ddnt get a proper answer, I decided to close the policy, guess what I didnot even get half of the amount that I invested, what on earth is that? They don't even say that the urgent will be getting paid from the portion of your monthly premium.
