DON'T TRUST OLD MUTUAL

Its been almost 2 years since my father passed away and over 20 years since my mother was ****ed. My mother who worked for old mutual as a broker was shot and ****ed on the job. Her funeral policy covered my father and we were assured that my father's funeral, in its eventuality, would be covered. Fast forward 20 years later, we try to claim from my dad's funeral policy and to this day we have been sent from pillar to post by old mutual. they insisted that my stepmother was the rightful beneficiary, she only came into my father's life after my mom died and was not part of my mom's plans when she covered my dad. She went ahead and did what she was told was required and still, they wouldn't payout. Now old mutual is contacting other family members demanding receipts for my dad's funeral rather than dealing directly with his adult children. We have had to go to the master of court and been through ridiculous paperwork to no avail. It's pathetic how they treat people. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Now people have to deliver corpses to finalize their claims? DISGUSTING!
