Don't invest with Old Mutual ever!
By far the worst financial institution I have had the misfortune of dealing with. And for anyone looking to invest money in I have only one piece of advice - don't! I have two claims that I am waiting for to pay out, all documentation and communication regarding them are correct and up to date. So far the one has been going now for 9 months with 56 emails of communication and they have suddenly decided not to answer my for the last 3 months. The other has been going for the last 6 months also with no clear sign of being resolved as yet. I feel sorry for those who are expecting their payouts because they are of pensionable age, best keep on working because you not going to see your money soon. With 2 investments being held for a combined time of 1 year now, my question to Old Mutual is this now: what happens to the interest on my money that you have been holding back? Is this a purposeful strategy to bulk your own funds with monies you do not pay out?

I really hope that you do have a look at the information supp****. I have also this morning forwarded the 56 emails relating to my first claim to the complaints email address that I found on Hello Peter for your reference.

My second claim is a lot larger but there seems to be a bit more communication from the superfund team.
