Do not use Old Mutual for loans or insurance - *********** people!!

Do not ever take out any insurance with Old Mutual, *********** people that do not know how to work with clients!!! We have a personal loan with Old Mutual for some time now and unfortunately last year I fell ill and eventually could not continue working. As we had also taken out the compulsory insurance with Old Mutual we processed a claim and this is where the absolute disgusting non existing service started!!! First they repeatedly transferred us to the incorrect department, eventually we wrote a previous complaint on Hellopeter, then responding on this we struggled for weeks to obtain the correct claim documentation with repeated follow up mails. Eventually receiving the documents we completed them and submitted with evidence. Weeks again passed and I received a call, with the "competent" person repeatedly asking me when I am returning to work......????? He also claimed we did not submit all the claim documents, only to later state he is not the claim owner and his colleague is on leave whom has access to the mails???? We then re-submitted the documents again. Today I receive an email from BULELANI MAGCIDA informing me the claim was rejected as my employment end date was before the loan start date????? This is impossible and even the claim forms signed by my employer clearly state the dates and shows my employment did not end before the loan start???? It is clear that the employees at Old Mutual have no idea of what they are doing and is not able to comprehend the content of documentation set before them. The undue tress and trauma they put client through is unprofessional and uncalled for. Disgusting to say the least.
