Do not trust Old Mutual!
Have been battling with Old Mutual to send me proof of payment to SARS for well over a year now- they cannot provide proof that the money they deducted from me actually was paid over to SARS. Now SARS wants me to pay them the money owing- money that was already deducted by Old Mutual!

As confirmed, Old Mutual included the tax payable for this policy in a bulk payment made to SARS. I have arranged for our Tax and Compliance department to help you interpret the Statement of Account, and to furnish you and your attorneys feedback.
This matter will receive priority attention once you have provided us with the Statement of Account. I trust that you find this arrangement in order.
