Do not take out a savings with old mutual . Robbing the umemployed

3 years ago i took a policy with old mutual for 300rand payment per month , i was informed i can cash in my policy at 3 years completion with a total sum of R13 -+-+ . for 5 ,8 or 10.

Now it has been three years , i wanted to claim my policy , i was informed i am unable to as it was for 10 years not 3 years , i requested the voice recordings , the agent clearly states i can take it out whenever i want . Now i am not being granted my interest and i am paying a penalty.

Surely this is rendered as ***** from old mutual side . I will be seeking legal assistance further if this matter is not solved immediately because i bet theirs are many people going through the same issue.

*** i went through my policy and i see that what was discuss by the agent is different to what was agreed via the phone , which is a verbal agreement .

I think the agent should be penalized for false documents instead of me.

Disgusting service as i don't work i struggle with airtime , yet i needed to call for updates .
