Do not invest with Old Mutual!!!!

My mother took out an education policy for me 20 years ago. My mother has been a pensioner for a number of years now. The policy reached maturity on 1st April 2024. This money was meant for me go study now at age 35. My mother did not miss one single payment. Old Mutual decided they were going to extend this policy without my mother’s consent and continue debiting her account every month for the NEXT 20 YEARS (i.e policy now set for maturity in 2064, which is not even another 20 years)!!! She managed, with a lot of unnecessary battles, to get them to pay us out. Old Mutual has now decided that they will be paying out a surrender value amount instead of maturity amount for a policy that matured on April 1st, 2024. My mother did not skip one single payment for the past 20 YEARS. I hate this company. I will not rest and I will not give up until this is made right. Mark my words!!!
