DO NOT DEAL WITH OLD MUTAUL!!!

Old mutual has no sense of urgency and their service is appalling to say the least. I have lodged a claim with them, completed all the forms required of me and provided all supporting documents as requested. My claim was handled by a consultant and later on the consultant could not be found as they had resigned, one would assume that the details of the claim would be handed over the the next person so they can carry on with the processing of the claim but much to my surprise there hadn't been a handover of my claim and thus I needed to resubmit documents (This is after I had made countless efforts to get a hold of anyone who could help with my claim and failed lots of times before getting to someone who was willing to speak to me about my claim ). I have asked multiple times for information regarding what the next steps are and the turnaround times thereof and none has been forthcoming to this day. This has been over months now and I still cannot get any feedback from Old mutual. I then asked to be given the contact details of the complaints department so I can lodge a formal complaint before taking my matter to the Ombudsman and none has been forthcoming.
