Letter received on 20 March 2015 informs us of a dispatch of a previous letter which we did not receive and also tells us that my husband's(ANM Gannie)Flexilife Maximum Cover number: *** taken on 1 October 1996 contract investment being paid up,retaining its death cover but losing all supplementary benefits because Old Mutual was unable to access their debits.I am extremely disappointed that a company that has successfully taken premiums for the past 19 years, who must have been aware of the post office strike then, could of have contacted us on the landline or cell. How can you fix a problem you not aware of?I am of the opinion that we are being cheated by Old Mutual. This was a financial security for the family in times of sickness. Who would now give us a policy with the same benefits at age 51? It would be fair to have my husband reinstated with all benefits provided all the premiums are paid up. We always make sure sufficient funds are available for our debits however we had become aware of unknown companies accessing our current account without permission. We had contacted the bank and had made arrangements to rectify this problem.
