DISPUTING ARREARS CHARGES
I had a very disturbing call from Thandi today calling from Old Mutual Finance regarding my account which is apparently in arrears. I must say I am really disappointed in Old Mutual Finance's poor administration and lack of professionalism.
It is funny how you always mention on your telephonic conversations that your calls are recorded because it does not look like you use the recordings yourselves. Before I paid a R50 000 cash payment into my loan account, I had an arrangement to temporarily reduce my instalment for two months. Even the letter I sent to you to make this arrangement clearly stipulated that the arrangement would be for the months of September and October 2018. Someone called from ********** to confirm the arrangement and sent a text message to my phone on Tuesday the 11 September 2018 at 10:38 a.m.
The text message read:"Ms Makwela, Ref ********** 001-New arrangement agreed is Istalm R1980.30-3mths. OMF ********** "
Thandi tells me that the arrangement was for one month which leaves my account in arrears because my new instalment should have been debited from the 15 October 2018. How that's even possible I don't know because Ashika/Asheeka called me on Saturday the 13 October 2018 confirming the new instalment that will be debited from the 15 November 2018. I want to know why is it my problem if you do not communicate internally and do not update your systems according to the agreement you have with your customers.
Since you do not respond to e-mails, I want to put it on record that I am disputing the arrears charged to my account.
